How to Solve the 'Lost Reminder' Puzzle Mysterious Datapad Quest Guide

The Lost Souvenir Destiny 2 (play for free) - quest is available on Mysterious Datapad which is downloaded during the Mysterious Box quest, which also provides you with Izanagi’s Burden Sniper Rifle, which is crucial to solving the demand for the ‘Lost Souvenir quest.

 

The riddle is actually related to the new Black Weapons area, the Niobe Labs at EDZ, located just south of Sojourner's Camp, below a damaged bridge in the southern part of the map. When you get there, you need to have the following weapons:

• Lovely Fang Bow
• Tatara Gaze Sniper rifle
• Hammerhead Machine Gun

If you don't have these weapons, don't worry, you can get them by opening each of the first three forks (Volundr, Gofannon, Izanami) - each of which is required to shoot some brands at Niobe Labs.

 

To use the 'Lost Souvenir Destiny 2 quest', you need to go to the center of Niobe Labs first and connect the switch under the central platform. Once you start searching, you'll need to shoot seven markers around the lab area. For all the symbols, you will have to shoot it with the right weapon.

 

1.   Lost Paper (Bow) As you begin, look at the blue display on the pillar. On the south side.

2.   Stormy Cloud (Machine Gun) In the front right corner, very high. On the west side.

3.   Temple Arch (Sniper Rifle) In the back right corner. And up. On the south side.

4.   Sunrise (Bow) Downstairs, to the right of the Missive Paper pillar.

5.   Star (Machine Gun) Downstairs, on the raised balcony. In the middle, between the two pillars.

6.   Hand (Machine Gun) Down, to the right of the Star sign.

7.   Black Armory (Sniper rifle) On the roof of the platform with Star / Hand. Scroll down to see it.

 

When you are able to shoot the symbols properly, the invincible Taken waves will be displayed. They all have shields that could be damaged by Izanagi’s Burden Sniper Rifle. After destroying the shield, you don't need a gun to injure yourself but Izanagi's Burden Sniper Rifle can be used to kill them.

When you reach the final stage of this quest, you will need to get Forge Essence.

How to Receive Forge Essence

To get Forge Essence, you need to complete Volundr, Gofannon, Izanami, and Bergusia Forges while wearing any Full Black Armor and using only Black Armory weapons.

 

Once you have completed all four Forges and installed Black Armory gear, the search is over. By completing this requirement, you will be awarded the Obsidian Accelerator as a reward for using it to upgrade Black Armory weapons.

 

This may not be a great reward but you will know its value.

How to Complete a Loss Reminder Request

Before you can try this query, you will need to first collect a few items:

 

Fill out the Mysterious Box quest to find Mysterious Datapad and Izanagi's Burden Sniper Rifle.

 

Go to Niobe Labs on the EDZ and drag the button under the platform leading to the Bergusia forge.

 

Now you have to shoot seven hidden symbols throughout the room with some weapons. The first is in the pillar where you start. Shoot the Missive Paper with Spiteful Fang Bow.

 

Shoot the Cloud Stormy with a Hammerhead Machine Gun. It is on the right side of the first pillar, high above the western side.

 

Shoot the Pagoda with the Tatara Gaze Sniper rifle. It is in the rear axle to the right, upside down on the south side.

 

Shoot the Sunrise with Spiteful Fang Bow. It's still on the bottom right of the pillar with Paper Missive.

 

Shoot the Star with the Hammerhead Machine Gun. It is still under the proposed platform.

Equip the Burden Sniper Gun of Izanagi and use it to defeat the breeding enemies.

The occupants have shields that can only be destroyed by Izanagi’s Burden. After that, any weapon will cause damage, but only Izdengi's Burden can bring them down.

 

Complete four missiles with a full set of Black weapons and Black Armory weapons only.

What is the Reward for Completing the Memorial Demand?

Your reward for solving the Mysterious Datapad riddle and completing the Lost Memorial is the Obsidian Accelerator. Bring it to Ada-1 in the Tower, and it will give you the Obsidian Dreams symbol. After that, you will be able to upgrade the weapons of Black Armory.
